Omniflow bets on AI integration in urban lighting

Omniflow is transforming urban lighting with intelligent luminaires that integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning on the spot. These luminaires illuminate the streets and promote sustainability by generating energy through wind turbines and solar panels, reducing electricity costs and CO2 emissions by more than 90 per cent.

Omniflow's solutions monitor environmental and traffic data, enabling informed decisions to improve efficiency, sustainability, and public safety. The cloud-based platform allows for real-time monitoring and remote adjustments.

In addition, reusing existing lampposts reduces installation and maintenance costs, offering a cost-effective solution that optimises energy consumption. Collaboration with NVIDIA and the use of NVIDIA Jetson in each light pole allow data to be processed locally, ensuring privacy and rapid update deployment.

The serverless architecture enables rapid updates and improvements. The integration of AWS services, such as IoT Core and Lambda, guarantees the scalability and adaptability of services to customer needs. This integration speeds up development, allowing large installations to be completed in 15 days.
