Galp registers record number of electric vehicle charges

Galp exceeded expectations and achieved a record for electric charging in 2023, surpassing the mark of one million charges at its network of petrol stations. This figure represents a growth of 67% compared to the previous year, consolidating Galp's position as the leader in electric mobility on the Iberian Peninsula.

The Portuguese energy company emphasises that this success is due to the expansion of its network of charging stations, which should reach 10,000 in Portugal and Spain by 2025. Currently, with 2,600 charging points, the Galp network has an installed capacity of 45 MW.
